Our family recently bought a house in Asheville and I reached out to Primo Painting to paint a few rooms before we moved into our new home. Daniel was very responsive and quickly followed up with me about our job. He gave us a fair quote and checked his calendar to see if he could accommodate our job before we moved our things into our new home. Daniel was able to complete our job the next day. He arrived before he said he would and was very communicative throughout the entire job. He also sent us pictures of the completed paint job since we’re still in Raleigh and won’t see it in person until next week. The rooms he painted look wonderful and I really appreciated his attention to detail. I can’t wait to move into our new home!!

These guys did a great job! They always kept us in the loop. The project had no hidden costs or surprises. The men were so hardworking. They are careful and considerate. For example they did not take nails out without asking. They also gave us a heads up if something seemed more intensive, like taking down wallpaper. They helped us with our color choices based on their experience using the colors when we told them what we wanted. They also made our project a priority and were done quickly without sacrifice to quality. We will definitely use these guys again.

contacted Daniel and Primo Painting on Jan 30, met to gather multiple estimates on 2-5, and selected Primo on 2-6. Painting completed for our 3 bedroom 2 bath townhouse (all walls, ceilings, and trim). Daniel’s estimate was more affordable than I had ever expected. Job was wrapped up in less than a week and it has transformed our mountain home.

The crew at Primo Painting was excellent to work with. Daniel (owner) was very responsive to emails, showed up on time, worked fast and quietly, and was great. He was about half the price of another painter that was “recommended” by my realtor.! We had the entire interior of a 4K sq foot home painted in under a week, with 20-foot walls in parts of the house.

Daniel and then guys did a bang up job. Our house feels like it went through a portal from the early 90’s to the modern day. He listened to my vision, had a paint color to suggest, and worked us into his schedule as soon as he could. The job was to paint all the trim, gutters, and soffits of our three story home, and they finished in 3 days. They even removed the storm windows that were too high up for us to reach. We will definitely be using Primo again.

I’m a home renovator and met Daniel through Thumbtack prior to the start of a new project in Greenville (I’m new to the area). He showed up on time for his quote and, unlike most contractors who need to “calculate things”, he gave me a written quote on the spot, which my partner and I love. We agreed to move forward and I gave Primo a portion of a very large project – as I always do when working with a contractor for the first time. I proceeded to hire Primo a 2nd time, on the same house, to clean up the other painters mistakes and its led to a great business relationship. Daniel and his team have subsequently painted 3 more homes for me, including a dramatic exterior transformation as seen in the pictures below. The theme is always the same – fair prices, great work, and the work completed in the time frame they commit to. Daniel has also been flexible enough to shift his schedule to accommodate unexpected scheduling conflicts that seem to occur more often than not in the renovation industry. I highly recommend Primo for all your painting needs!

He went above and beyond by always being responsive and happy to help including things like getting a paint sample that I couldn’t get at Lowe’s. Things like that kept the project moving and fun vs frustrating. I was so glad to have an honest straight forward person working with us! This included passing the pricing deal we got on the paint down to us! Clear communication is key and no mistakes were made in the execution of the project – because they always made sure we were all on the same page. The business owners are the ones doing the work, not a contractor who you never see again after they send a whole different crew to your house. Highly recommended!!
